Default Warning To All

When turkey hunting...and leaning on a tree as a backrest...

MAKE SURE YOU'RE NOT PUTTING YOUR BACK DIRECTLY ONTO A MESS OF POISON IVY!!!

I went out last weekend...and now I have it all over my backside from left to right...I'm miserable.

I think I'm gonna go get some steroid shots this weekend from the clinic to make it go away.

I looked like a diseased little man. Poison ivy rash all over me.

Yall be careful, I don't wish this on anyone. (oh btw, poison ivy is the three leaved plant that is probably EVERYWHERE you are in the woods. Use precaution.)

i do the same occassionally....but once when coon hunting with dad and our hounds at night...dad and i were listening to the dog work...we didnt have the lights on....dad ALWAYS flicked his light on before sitting down....i started coon hunting at age 5 or 6 no joke....i was tired of standing up lonnnnnng before dad thought about sitting down lol..as soon as i seen him about to sit down i was sitting lol...never turned on the light...didnt know why.......one night i did it...like every night......worst case of poison ivy i ever had......FULL body....face and hands were BAD bacause they touched it......then everything my clothes rubbed on....and then my hands touch...YES even there...........it was full body....steroid shot cured me right up.........but man was that miserable....dad knew what happened as soon as i was itching.....so we got it taken care of rather quick thankfully.....better believe i shined the light before i sat down too......dad told me thats the reason he shined the light first......

I feel for you.
When I was 10 years old I had it real bad.
All over me and in my eyes.
I had to have shots of some kind for 3 weeks.

Be carefull

i feel for ya, when i was a kid i could drive by poison ivy in the car and i would manage to get it.and yes i have had it everywhere. my eyes, ummm down.....well you know.. everywhere. poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac.had it alli would do the shots the steroid packets and all the creams. now the crazy thing is i can go out today and roll around in it and wont bother me atall.the doctor says its just an allergie to the body, same as allergies you getfrom pollen you can grow in and out of it. I just hope i dont grow back intopoison ivy allergy.

I've literally crawled on all fours in the stuff when coming up out of a river and didn't get a single spot on me.
