Went to listen this morning, Whoopbutt did his thing until 9:30 a.m., then he went out of hearing. Heard 3 more, let them do their thing, I'll be there in the morning, will call and leave, call some more, then move back. If that don't work, I'm going fishing, the shellcracker are biting.

You're not going to believe this, but I just ordered $159.00 worth of books on turkey hunting. I have never had a bird put it on me like this one, so I fiqured I need some help. The books may not help this year, but maybe next year. I honestly thought I new it all, but have learned a lesson this year.
I appreciate your confidence in me, I'm a little short on it right now, but not whipped yet. If I get this bird, everybody will know about it. To make matters worse, because of his continuous movement, I'll bet a pretty nickle, he won't weight over 15 or 16 lbs, because of chasing the ladies. It don't matter though, if I get him, I'm going to chew each bite 100 times, just to make sure he's really dead.
