turkey on skis-help

A manI hunt with has told me the same story about an old man he used to know who put a turkey decoy onsmall skis, he has told me this for the past 3 years. So this year i decided to tryto make some. The onesI have started to makethem 10 inches long and about three inches apart. the fronts curl a bit, so not to get stuck in the ground or something else.I am trying to make them as small as possible yet still be effective.the man in the story had his hooked to a string and pulled the decoy in then the gobbler came running so the stroy says.do think this would work? I have been turkey hunting for a good many years, and to me if done right could work pretty good.

I've heard just attaching some fishing line and jiggling it works. The decoy on skiis sounds like it would be top-heavy and fall over. Motion in decoys does seem logical, mojo for ducks works so well it's banned in some places. Ive recently seen bobble head turkey decoys including some that are doing the nasty!
