Default Turkeys will have to wait....

Well guys tonight i head to bed early and put my excitment for the season aside. My bro is goin in for open heart surgery tomorrow. The surgery is expected to be 4-6 hours but when my other bro had it, his lasted 14. Well anyways. The gun is ready, the camo is set, the scouting is done. My season opensin just over a week, so we will see how he is doin by then to see how my season goes.

For his high school graduation we had my first turkey as the main course of the meal, and he will now grad. college in May.
At dinner tonight he told me that i should go and kill him a bird so he can have it for his graduation. This supprised me cause he does not hunt or fish. But he said he really wanted wild turkey for his meal and i sure as hell am goin give it my damnedest.

Well if ya got a minute just say a word to the man upstairs!
Thanks a ton.
Will keep ya posted

Theinespines3,
If you don't mind me asking, what is the diagnosis on your brother? I know of a couple reasons as to why he would get it done, but he's pretty young and can't see why this is their last resort. My father is a surgeon, so I've got some knowledge in the general area of the cardiovascular system. I'm going to medical school either this year or next, so if you want to know anything about what's going on...justPM and I'll do what I can. Take care brother and GOD BLESS! Our prayers will be with you!

Best wishes to for you and your family. I know what you mean, my mom is in the hospital now getting an angeogram. Hopefully surgery won't be necessary, but with 16 days til my season opens, the turkeys may just have to wait for me too.
