Default 32# bird?

would you beleive it? i didn't untill i checked into it. this bird was taken next to DEVIL'S TOWER in wyoming. this thing nust have ate corn all winter. more than likely it is the heaviest turkey ever taken in wyoming. just shot this morning. wish i had a pic. for you![:-]

Geeze. Nice bird. That is amazing. Heaviest I've killed is 26 lbs.

That is a BIG bird!! My biggest is about 26lbs as well.

i didn't get any pics. as i work in a grocery store a bird hunter was in getting a few things for a roady, adn said he just filled his tag. and he was on his way to DOUGLAS WY, and told me about this huge bird. i said well i never heard of a bird that big around here. he told me he took it to the local proceesor to get it scaled. and it was 32# on a state certified scale. so what did i do, well the minute he left a called greig at the processors. yep thats right 32# he says! wow[:-]

that's huge!, my personal best is 24lbs. I'd hate to have to carry that bird for any long distance back to the truck!

That is a huge bird, and I agree with carring that thing. I would have to use a deer cart. The largest bird on the NWTF records was a bird killed near Lexington, Kentucky weighing 34 plus pounds.

32# turkeys don't come out of the wild[]
