Killed my second Louisiana bird yesterday afternoon at 4:00. He weighed 21 pounds with a 10 1/2'' beard and 1 inch and 3/4 inch spurs. My first bird weighed 17 pounds. I also bagged one in Tennessee last week which weighed 22 pounds with a 10 inch beard and 1 inch matching spurs. My season is over unless I go back to Tennessee. Sad to see it over, but the limit in La. is two.
Congratulations on the birds. Sounds like you had a great season. I haven't gotten to hunt yet. Season opens Saturday in KY. You could always come to KY and hunt till May 7th!
