I was out scouting a week or two ago and i noticed alot of turkey sign around a patch of pine trees. Theproblem is thatother people usually hunt in that specific area. There is another patch of pine trees on the other side of the farm but i haven't gotten a chance to scout that area yet. My question is do turkeys prefer to roost in pine trees or is it just a coincidence that most of the sign is in that area? I'm new to turkey hunting but i figured i'd give it a try this year.
MIght as well follow the sign to find the turkeys. Probably using those pines when there isbad weather nights especially. Get uphillabove them if possible.

Get in there really early and beat the other guys in. That seems like it might be a roosting site, you could set up in thier travel route from the roosting site. Good Luck
