Default help

is it ok to have just a hen decoy or will the tom kno somthing is up just help

and if a 2 jakes and 2 hens run into the woods is it normal for the big tom to follow them just help plz

there is nothin wrong with just usin a hen decoy alone .i have takin quite a few with just a hen decoy set out .but the jake decoys do help alot especially if u have jake dekes sat up with the hen .as for the other one yes and no .

I have had more luck with just a hen decoy than anything else........though I have jake decoys I rarely use them....a Jake decoy can make a sub-dominant 2 year old bird NOT come into your spread! Have witnessed this many times 1st hand.......go kick the Jake in the ditch and in they come....so you tell me...

So I advise against using a Jake decoy om the majority of set-ups...

So what you are saying is don't use a jake decoy in the spring. I have had toms run to the jake and hen decoys. I have gotten them with just the hen decoy also. You think just use the hen decoy or both.

Like some have already said i think a lone hen decoy is best of all. Iv had more success from that then any other set up.
