is it wise, possible, or even helpful, to use game cameras for turkey scouting? Would it work the same as deer hunting? I guess it would, i just never heard of it....also, do you guys wear full camo, part camo or no camo when scouting for turkeys...i would think full camo but im not sure...thanks for the help fellas.
I have found that using game cameras are very helpful. helps you track the times that they come around in your hunting area. works great when hunting deer and turkeys, www.bowhuntgear.com has some great deals on game cameras. I personaly use full camo when i scout and hunt
lol thanks boris, i actually didnt expect a response to it now because i posted it so long ago, but i DEF appreciate your input. Yea i would think it would work the same, i just wanted to see if anyone else has used it for this purpose. Thanks alot for the response buddy.
No problem, im new to the site and was looking around for posts about game cameras to see if i could find a few new tricks and i looked at your post and thought id put in m 2 cents.
I have gotten pictures of hens around my deer feeder. They mostly hit the area to pick at the fallen corn. Seems they do this either first thing in the morining or between 12:30 -2 PM. I havn't seen any gobblers near the feeder though. Yesterday I had a day picture of 2 deer and a hen. Overall, I would not rely on a cam to scout for turkey like I do for deer.

I use my cameras, esp. in the late season when the Toms are going to the same places every day to look for hens. I posted a few pictures awhile back, if I can find one I'll post it here.
