Default Day 10, Heard One Bird.

Well I went in an hour before daylight, heard one bird across the fence a good ways from me. Called it quit a little early this morning so I could pay some bills. Going again tomorrow, there's a front coming thru today and supposed to be a little cooler tomorrow.

I just entered my birds score and was looking over the pics and scores of other hunters, some nice birds and scores listed.

Man, you are having a kinda tough season. At least you got one so far! How many can you kill and when does the season end?

JW, jepcho, & spur1A,

To answery'alls' questions. We can hunt from sunrise to dark.
We can take 3 gobblers, I normally stop hunting when I get two, unless I'm calling for someone else, and then I don't take a gun with me. We don't have a fall season. I'm glad, don't think I could take it.
And spur, I'm going to get that bird, he's going to mess up sooner or later.

By the way, Georgias' turkey season runs from Mar. 25th to May 15th. I believe I'd be skin and bones if I had to hunt the whole season. I'm definitely not braging, but I normally get 2 birds within the first two weeks. Then I can get on with my fishing. I honestly believe I'd rather take my grandaughter or a friend tohunt a turkey than hunt for myself.
