Default south carolina opening day

i went hunting saturday morning and we had 5 gobblin they shut up and we went to leave and they were in the field we moved the decoys and the big boy stepped out then the darn hens and jakes ran into the wood is it normal for the big boy always follow them in the woods cuz thats just what he did help me plz
