Default First turkey....

I shot my first turkey this morning 7:45. Man what a rush!!! They were gobblin and the hens were chirpin behind us for an hour or so...and they walked by on our left and couldnt get a shot. So me and my mentor snuck up a small hill crawlin on our elbows and i shot my first jake. 15 pounds and had a 4 inch beard!! It was during a youth hunt our last day. I'm hooked i'm looking forward to buying a tag for next year!

Congrats. I still remember my first bird. And from now on when spring rolls around, you'll get that itch just to see some turkeys.
