Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Got-R-Done again

Took another client out again yesterday and had a slow day, the birds didn't seem to want to work let alone talk. This morning we headed into the same area NC killed his bird and what a change in the birds.

At first light I had a gobbler sound off some 50 times, then the hens started talking. Low and behold we were setup not far off the group and I joined right in with the turkey talk. As I listened to the hens , I added just a touch more aggression to my calling then they appied and before long the flydowns began. The hens started working my way and the gobbler in tow. I could see the hens passing on both sides of the setup and I could hear MR Tom Drumming behind a Broken oak top. The sound worked toward the decoy and there he appears 30 yards out in a clear shooting lane.

The client took a great shot and down he went.

It looks as if that the season end this year , as I client we had booked dropped out for the weekend.

I fly back to Ontario on April 4th to finish some shows and start this all over again on April 24th.

Congrats to everyone that has been successfull so far this spring...BT
