o yeah its the evennin before our season opener here in upstate of sc .its time to hit my home turf for one my old nemesises from last year .thats all those jakes that tempted me there are goin down this year .i hunted the opener for the lowcountry of sc and took a nice bird and had to come home my oldest son got sick ( bummer being a single parent ) .o i have had to wait till april to continue my pursuit .now its also time for my sons to go huntin with dad to see if they can get there first birds .to all you folks who is still waitin for your seasons to open my heart goes out to ya .but its time to party o wait goin bowfishin tommorow then huntin .

Don't go leaving your ethics in the truck
I live in lexington and went huntin recently on some land in st. mathews and called a hen in and had them talkin in the trees but NO GOBBLES Im kind of confused....... Ive hunted here 2 times this season and havent heard any gobbles, 2 maybe FAR off the first time. But usually we here lots of gobbles. Im going there tomorrow.
