i had one once...for some reason i was never real consistant with it...from one yelp to another, might not have been important to the turkeys, but i didnt feel confident with it. And when i'm turkey hunting...all hunting for that matter...if i'm not confident with the calls or skills i use in the deer woods or turkey woods, i change them. I dont even remember where i've put that old tube call. [&:]
I tried it but couldnt use it right. Think it was the hunter not the instrument. See I was deprived until 2002 from turkey hunting. Never had a mentor to show me about calling or mouth calls etc, so I am working for a deficit. So, I think if I knew how it might have worked a lot better!
