Default northwest arkansas

just moved into northwest arkansas and was wondering if anyone on here could help. i have very little private ground to hunt and have been scouting alot and havent seen much turkey sign. so im looking into hunting some public ground but the only place i have found people are telling me its way overhunted,any advise on some places i could look into would be much appreciated

What part have you heard is over hunted? why not white rock?

White Rock WMA is so stinkin big, if you look hard enough you can find spots away from the people.

But, that being said...you also might be hunting within 200 yards of people and not even know it. It's the same way with Piney above Russellville.

White Rock kills alot of birds every year. For public, I'd say that it's your best bet...even though it will be fairly crowded.

thanks guys, ill look into white rock

i think the area i was talking about being overhunted is upper buffalo area 21. thats what it looks to be on the map i found. not real sure because the map isnt very good quality, but i did finally find some phone numbers to get some descent maps of all the walk in turkey hunting areas and all the wilderness turkey hunting areas. i dont know exactly what the difference is between the 2 but i suppose ill find out soon enough, white rock looks big enough if i cant get away from everybody in that much land than they might as well change the name from white rock to war zone 1, anyways thanks for the helpand goodhunting
