Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default load size ? for all you brother'n

i just got an undertaker choke for my 835 moss. the choke is tighter than my factory as you probably know. i heard that you should use smaller loads like 1 3/4 or similar when firing from a tight choke. also i heard the tighter the choke the smaller the pellets you should be using.

is this true or just more crap.

i haven't fired anything out of the U.T. choke yet. last year i was using flightcontrol 3" and got descent results out of all of them(4,5,6). these were all 2 oz loads.

I'll second the 5 shot, but make sure you pattern for your self.

Yepper dvdgeorge, should have said that myself. What works for me might not work for someone else, costly but you try a few now, maybe few brands later, and each year try something different....... anyway, agree with dvd, got to pattern for yourself to be sure! [8D]

I use a Northwind choke, dont think you can get them anymore, correct me if I am wrong.
I am using the Federal FliteControl #5's, in 3". I am very impressed with their patterning at 30 yds...very impressed.
I am going to invest in an Undertaker this weekend, wondering how much of a difference I can get.
Ps. Dont try using a ported choke with the FliteControls, it will ruin the pattern --->See Federal Website
