Just got back from scouting

Just got back from a little preseason scouting today. I checked out a new spot I just got permission to hunt and then went to my old spot. I saw about 50 turkeys feeding along the river right where I hunt, and there was alot of nice toms. Wow, I thought I had the fever before, now I can hardly wait till opening day.

Dangitt wrenchbender...now i knew i shouldn't have read your post..

..just tonight i sat through a perfect locating thunderstorm (i was in the house tho...didnt wanna get wet) but i bet if i were on the edge of the fields and woodlot....i woulda heard some gobblin.
and now...i have to wait till may...but....these posts do make the ol' itch to be afield even more evident...thanks for sharing.
