One other thing I didn't take in mind.

You are a younger person, so you may want to shoulder each and see how they fit your body. The 835 has a 10ga barrel so it can be a little much to shoulder for smaller people.

I believe that Rem. 870 Youth stocks can be purchased rather cheaply from Cabelas. That way you can buythe shotgunas is, put on the shorter youth stock, and switch it out to the original stock when you grow a bit (If this is even an issue).
