Default yardage!

At what yardage are you most comfortable pulling the trigger on an old tom?

If you patterned your gun, you will know the exact distances that your shell/choke will work best.

I myself prefer a 20 yard shot. But I will shoot one out at 40 yards as well.

I've shot them at 15 yards(to close) I've shot them at 45 yards(to far) I think 20 to 30 yards is my comfort zone

i've patterned up to 50 yards and killed a tom at 45 yards.....that's my limit. 25 - 30 yards is a lot better!

i've patterened my gun to 30 yds so far but with the pattern i had i should be able to shoot to 40 but i'm going to go out and pattern some more to make sure. i haven't killed a bird yet but some where around 20-25 yards would be good i think.

I would prefer 30....45yds or less is my comfort range, but I will not hesitate at 55yds if I feel like it.My gun has taken them at longer distances.Ifind it hard for me to accurately range afluffed up tom, they look so big!![8D]
