best decoy to get that doesn't bend, rip, pain to set up
I need to get me a few hens and a jake, and realize there are new decoys on the market every year. The last ones I had would always bend the way I folded them up no matter what I did and were a bit of a pain to set up.

i hear ya. i've always folded mine in half and they get all creased and won't expand out when i put them out. has anyone tried rolling them up? don't know if that makes a difference or not but i don't think they'd hold a crease. idon't think the turkeys mind but would be nice if the decoys looked better to us.

Thanks for any advice!
I've used these for the last 3 seasons and am EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THEM:
I use the Struttin' Tom & the Ultimate 4-Flock.

I bought some Feather Flex decoys. In the instructions it says to store them expanded out so as not creat memory creases. Try a hairdryer on the creases to remove them.

i have a decoy that i think is a feather light and i had this same problem. there was aways a big dent in one side of it. i have yet to figure out a way to end this problem. i did buy an inflatable jake to try out also and so far other than having to blow it up i'm pleased.

UKKATSHUNTERis right. All you have to do is take the decoys out of your vest when you are through for the day and open them up. I keep mine in the back of my Cherokee during the season. The heat during the day helps work the folds out of them. I've used this technique with Feather Flex, Buckwings and Carrylites with good results.

Those sceeries look ok in the sense you can blow them up and no worries about wrinkles. What about the colors though, are actual turkey subspecies that different in color to where one decoy set won't work, or are they close enough that the one color they offer is fine?
