I use a 1187 Rem.

My favorite call is the slate calls I make. Also I made a wing bone call that's really moving up on my list.

I think that you will find the answer to this question be whatever they have to shoot.

I bought a NEF 10ga. 24'' to take over as my primary turkey gun this year. That is if I have time to find a choke/load for it.

Right now, my primary turkey gun is a

3.5'' Browning BPS Stalker (black)
Comp-N-Choke XXX Full
3.5'' Winchester XX 2 1/4 oz # 6's

I might try the Winchester XR's if I can't spare enough money for a choke/load combo for my 10ga this spring.

Oh yeah

Come this spring my primary calls will be

Cane Creek- Lost Poult (mouth call)
Knight & Hale AlumiStrut
Knight & Hale SlateQueen
Knight & Hale Glass Queen

I could go on and on.

Best advice. ---Use whatever call the turkeys like, not what you like.
