Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Slate Calls

Goin to Bass Pro Saturday, gonna pick up a couple calls and some new decoys. Last year I pretty much limited my calling to my Primo's Crystal Freak, but I wanna add a couple of other calls to my vest this year so I'm gonna get a Box Cutter and another slate call. I was gonna try out theKnight& HaleOl' Yeller but I really like the looks of thePsycho.I really like the idea of the push buttoncall on thePsycho.Does anyone have one of these and does it sound pretty good?

looks of a call will get you nowhere IMO...worry about the sound and if you can use it well....the ole yeller is my goto call......even though ive made my own slate and glass calls.....cheap call too.....that surface is easy to play on with a wood striker and seems not to need much conditioning compared to a glass of slate....and me and the turkeys both love the sound of it......i love that call....

Wow, don't know if you were tryin to be a smartass or what, but I didnt mean that I like the looks of the call literally. What I meant was that I like the idea of being able to have the push button call made into the slate call.
