Default Decoy Combination

What decoy combination do you have the most luck with. I usually go with 2 hens and a jake.

Depends on early or late season. I'll use a jake early in the season. Later in the season the toms seem to avoid 2-hens-and-a-jake because a lot of guys seem to use 2-hens-and-a-jake. Then maybeI'll use just one hen. Or if thereare heavy leaves, I won't use anything.

I used to usea lone hen, it worked sometimes. Last season I used1 hen and1 jake, and that was the ticket for me.

One or two hens with a jake.....facing the jake towards me with the hen facing away just off to the side of the jake....a tom will usually face the jake, causing the tom to be facing away from the shooter.
