Went shopping yesterday and bought a new vest, a couple of mouth calls, and a JellyHead choke in 12 gauge, all of which I really didn't need. I shoot the undertaker choke but just wanted to experiment. How does the JellyHead perform for you? What do you shoot with it? I shoot Rem. Hevi-shot. Was it worth buying? I'm going to try it out this weekend or next.
I also shoot an undertaker but have heard a lot of good things about the Jelly Head. I buddy of mine has it and he shoot thesame gun as I do,it patterns awesome for him.
It may shoot better or it may shoot worse... Chance you have to take to find the best shell choke comboI have a small box full of chokes and bigger box full of different types of turkey loads

I was consideringthe Jellyhead too. I was thinking of buying one for my son's Mossberg 500. I was wondering if anyone had any experience w/ this gun / choke combination, and what loads patterned best. From what I read, you can shoot hevi-shot through this choke.
do yall know if they make that choke tube for a rem. 870

I have shot a jelly head out of a rem 870 3'' and out of my gun it shoots very close to a rhino choke. I shoot a rhino now but in the next couple of days I am going to try the federal heavyweight and the win xtended out of a pure gold and a jellyhead, I'll let ya'll know how it does.
I did shoot the jellyhead with a Rem. 870 super mag and Rem. Hevi shot 3.5 inch 5 shot. I was pretty happy with the results. Not a whole lot different than the Undertaker though. I will probably use them both.
I shot my jellyhead out of rem 870 3'' with win extended range #6's today. It didn't do as good as I though it would, I only had 7 pellets in the brain and spine of a primos turkey target. With the jellyhead and fed 3'' heavy weight #6's I only had 2 in the brain and spine. I think I will stick with my rhino choke and win xtend #6's out of my 870 but I will be hunting with my Mossberg 835 I don't have to worry about killing one at 40 yards with it.
