Default Which Turkey Gun Choke ?

This question is for people that own Winchester Model 1300
Pump Shotguns.

That is what I have.

So what turkey choke have you used?

And what turkey choke had the best patteren?

And with what brand of shell and shot size did the best in your gun?

This is for the Winchester Model 1300 Pump

Thank You

While I don't have one my son does; he's had the best performance with HastingsĀ® & CarlsonsĀ®.

That's the very gun that I shoot as well, and the two choke and load combo's that worked great for me are:

(1) Tru-Glo Strut stopper choke tube sized .665 and usingWinchester HV 3" 1 3/4oz of #5's. (Don't know if that still make this choke tube?)

(2) Rhino choke tube sized .660, while using Nitro H378 hevishot tri-plex loads in the 4X5X7 pellet sizes. (What I'm presently using now!!!)

Here's a pattern target pic of the Rhino choke and the nitro load at 40 yards. That's a 10" circle and it has a "counted" 316 pellets inside!!
That was the pattern that I have been seaching for all a long. Great combo for sure, but not cheap!!

I have been using Win Supremes 3" #6's with a Hastings .655"
choke. I bagged a nice gobbler at 47 yards withthis set up a few
years ago, dropped him like a rock. I am thinking about trying the
Win Extended shells but will probably have to get a different choke.
When I get to try them I will post the results so please do the same
if you find what works in your 1300.
