You ever find a mouth call that you love and they stop making it

Well that happened to me a few years ago... Mad Calls had a call they called poison... Now this is the old poison the one with the white tape not the new poison with the red tape... Well anyhow lucky for me the year before they stopped making it I bought like 8 of them... So I still have a few in my call drawer

Scince then I've found a new call maker that I like

Has anybody ever had this happen???

Ya,it looks like this yearas I dont see H.S. manufacturing there tone trough frame anymore!Supply and demand I guess!!![:-]It does look like Primos is coming out with a new frame they call the "dome" very similar to H.S's tone trough design,so I'll have to check em out!!

Good question Longbeard ,

This problem happens alot, but with some study you can sometimes come up with the same call again. By looking over some of the other calls that the company has to offer, most times they will make a call that is almost the same but with a different cut in them. If you can find one that you can modify by making the cuts yourself , you will have the same call.

or

Send a custom maker a new call and he can repo the same call with out a lot of trouble.

Now Bob , you have a different problem, as your favorite call is a little more complexed. A call maker would have to get a soother from a baby isle and somehow attach it to a mouth call frame and that could be tough to do LOL

Yeah, you just have to grab a bunch of different kinds and find another you like. Can cost a quite a bit of money if it takes you a few tries though.
