Default RE: HELP!!

First, I would welcome you to turkey hunting, as you will love it. Second, any turkey choke tube will work, to ulti-full to extra full and so on. And a broadhead should be selected by its cutting diameter and ability to bleed out heavily. I personally use ABC, Goldtip, and Hypershok heads, but there are many out there that do just fine. And about the roosting thing, there is good chance if you scout out any area where the turkeys are roosting in the trees, and setup in the early, early morning before sunrise, you have a little increased chance of bagging that prize in a closer radius of that nights roost. I personally don't rely on this technique, as I prefer to stalk and setup through the canyons here. Another piece of advice since you are new to turkey hunting, is to PRACTICE YOUR CALLS AND BE PATIENT. I have seen too many people not practice, and they burn a hunt because of that, and not to mention patience. I would tell you as well to read as many posts on here in the turkey hunting forum, as most posts are repeated throughout the archives bigtime.
