I don't know how many of you are from Michigan on here but the application deadline is Febraury 1st. Just didn't want anyone to forget. I know a few friends who would have been dead out of luck! Good luck to all!!

Yes, I have some property in Johannesburg which is about 25 miles East of Gaylord! I got my first bird there this past fall with my Bow! Can't wait for March first hopefully I draw, I guess i'll find out then!

We go through Gaylord everytime we head to our cabin/hunting spot in the U.P. That is cool! Good luck!

wow there area couple more michiganders on here. buckhunter where abouts do u hunt in the lower peninsula. i hunt in whitecloud, hense the name, my grandma has some property there. i guess i gotta remind my dad about the turkey permit, we almost forgot

I also hunt by gaylord about 10 miles north of veana I got a tom my first bird this year. i just got my license it is the one you can get over the couner.

This is my 05' Turkey. Shot in Delta County, Upper Michigan.
12 ga. Remington 6 shot nirto loads.
25 yards, called in with a mouth diaphram.
8 1/2" Beard - 7/8" spurs.
