Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Gobblin Hen tags a fall longbeard!

Gobblin Hen (otherwise known as Lee, my wife) called in 3 longbeards on Sunday, and shot the closest one at less than 10 foot. Gobblers came in with loud coarse yelping. 7-3/4" beard 3/4" spurs, 16lbs. Lee was hunting by herself on our land in East Homer. I was out guiding for the Cortland Chapter's Annual Fall Women's hunt and got a rather excited phone message around noon time! Lee was real happy as this was the first gobbler that she called in by herself. Lee did most of the calling on the first bird she tagged this fall, but this one was sweet as she started and finished the deal herself!
