Default Introducing My perfect Turkey Gun

This has taken alot of time and thinking and building to bring to the end and be able to say I'm finished building the perfect Turkey gun.

I started off with a Bennelli Nova 20ga in Advantage Timber camo.

I had this gun taken down and had the Forcing Cone lengthened and a Custom turkey choke made for it. I also had the reciever drilled and tapped for a B-style scope mount. This is what I got out of a 40 yard shot with this gun. Now this count is a total of 173 shot in a 1 foot circle.

Another problem I had was I use a scope on a Turkey gun and Like the Tasco 1.75x5x20 for a turkey scope. Not heavy and is well balanced on the reciever. But these scopes don't come in camo, so A very good friend looked after this problem. I had the scope camoed in the same pattern to match the gun.

Another problem was the trigger pull on this such gun , it was terrible, sloppy and way to much travel in the trigger system , so I descovered a Modifiction to get rid of all the Travel and set the trigger to the right squeeze as I wanted.

I then had the next problem and that was I am too short in the arms for most firearms. This creates a problem when comford is needed when setup with a scoped gun and using jackets in the cooler weather , so I also cut down the stock on this gun to fit me just right.

I have over come all the problems there is in a gun to make the perfect gun to head to the woods. Here is look at the finishing product, with the cut off of the stock.

Thanks guys, I did use this gun in the spring and I think it was a good idea because I was able to find all the points that I did not like after a change from a Remington to the Bennelli. I was so used of shooting the Rem , that it did not feel right with this gun , so its too late I was changing what needed to be done. A shot this weekend proved to me that you can make a gun do as you want.

Bob , thats a good question about weight, I have never weighted it , but can tell you it is a heck of alot lighter then the 12 ...BT
