Am i the only one ordoes there seem to be more turkey out in the fall round deer season than in the spring. Ive shot more tukey in the fall just hunting here and there , than in the spring getting out every morning sun up till noon is all we get and Im there trying to do my darndest to beat the clock
They travel in big flocks in the fall so when I see one I see abunch then but I see just as many in the spring time. I love hunting them in the spring way more than in the fall but I willbe bowhunting them this fall.
I find I know where they will be in the spring, and they are gobbling so I am always away of them. Sometimes in the fall they completely disappear off my property, as they flock up in such big groups that they are more densely located than in the fall. It is not uncommon for me to see 50-75 at a time in the fall, but it is also much more likely I won't see any.
