turkey pics. from 2005...
Here's a few pics. of my brother's opening day gobbler. I should mention that the little punk didn't get out of bed until 9:30. Unfortunatley, it was the only bird that we ended up taking between my dad, my brother and I last spring...although I called in two jakes for my cousins in this same section of vineyards during the youth season. We had severaly REALLY close calls on other longbeards throughout the season but just couldn't get the job done. Anyways, this is beautiful western Finger Lakes gobbler and was my brother's 2nd turkey and1st longbeard...22lbs., 9" beard, 3/4" spurs. The pics. looked alot better before I downsidedand uploaded them to hunt101.
