Default undertaker and hevishot

patterned my 870 remington express mag turkey gun with the 21 inch barrel with the new choke and load yesterday.....the choke is a undertaker HS.......675 restriction i beleive....load was remington hevishot high velocity 3 inch mag....1 1/2 oz of #6.....how many pellets is in that shell?? anyone know a whereabout number?? i only got to fire it once......had to get going......well.....4 times......tried rem nitros in #4, win HV #5, fed FC in #4, and the HS......the HS patternd the best.....but the other loads patterned ALOT better with the undertaker.....didnt count and do a comparision yet....but i will........it helped ALOT......just a denser cleaner pattern.....but the HS and undertaker put somewhere around 170 pellets in a 11x11in turkey target at 30yds......and i think its shooting low....so it might get better once i buy sights here shortly........just a heck of alot more holes at the bottom then the top of the paper.....all of the loads did that.....i plan on sights anyways......so itll get better......im impressed......11 bucks for the choke......11 bucks for the shells......im a believer!! glad i didnt buy it before the season!! love them after season deals.........anyone know how many pellets are in my shells??? oh ya......the high velocity part definetly seems to hold true.......seemed like it hit harder then the standard loads.....on both ends.....except them win HVs.......they THUMP me HARD.....

Default RE: undertaker and hevishot

i always got that fever.......theres no way to get rid of it.....when im shooting groundhogs all summer im always looking and listening for birds........when im hunting other game in the fall.....im always looking for turkeys for the fall season.....just always keepin my eye out for some birds.......but i figured.......shells half off......choke probably more then half off(i bought the original undertaker for 11 bucks and sent it to HS strut and they sent me a undertaker HS for hevishot......im sure its more then an original lead only undertaker).......so i bought the choke and got the right one......and bought the shells......and just had to test them out soon as i could......they are all out of turkey loads now or id be testing more.......but heck......170 some pellets on a 11x11 sheet of paper at 30yds........im HAPPY......sights are next......soon as i buy tires for my truck next week......move the center of the pattern up and blow their heads clean off..........
