They are definitely hitting the white oaks.
I noticed the grass was all stomped down under a white oak as I drove by so I decided to move my camera and see who showed up.
I dare this guy to try this on the morning of the 17th! Just try it.

For once, we are going to have a low acorn crop this year in central MO so hopefully that brings them out in the fields.
