Default Not legal in my parts!!!

Beautiful 6 point, but not legal in my part of PA. New regulations this year but there still needs to be three high. I dont see this deer making it through the season though. Either a junior hunter will get a great trophy or an adult hunter will mistaken him for a legal buck.

Anyone have any info on if this deer (or any deer similiar) will ever have more than three to a side? He looks as if he is a mature deer.

He appears to be 2 1/2 to 3 years old. He may get bigger.

He is still young, he has some growing to do. That what the point restriction is for, to let the age structure of the bucks to increase. I wish we had it here in Oklahoma, I would love to know that deer like that one would have a better chance of getting a chance to grow up.

i dont see any problem with him not being legal. There are definitely bigger bucks out there all over and he is only a 2 year old. he will be bigger next year and likely be legal to shoot. Nice looking buck, but definitely young and will grow more next year. If it were my hunting area I would be hoping he makes it through the season
