Default Difference between Bushnell Trophy Cams 8.0 and 5.0 Mega Pixel

Hi I've found the 8.0 mega pixel version for $145 on this site http://www.imarineusa.com/bushnelltr...brown-8mp.aspx
And Cabelas has the 5.0mp on sale for $130.
So, I'm asking about the differences between the two models. Thanks

It's probably a year-end clearance on the 2010 model.

Blessings......Pastorjim

The problem with some of last years run was that they would tend to run away....take hundreds of pictures of nothing(I had to return to two Bushnell before getting one that was acceptable).

That being said, the 8 MP takes great pictures, and you will have the ability to zoom in on a deer and count his nose hairs. The 5 MP camera is fine, but you will have less ability to zoom in on that buck standing off in the distance.

Bushnell did work with me, so I have only good things to say about customer service.

I would recommend the bushnell's, at least the Trophy cams. They should be adjustable between 5 or 8mp. I've got an '09 and a '10 model and both work very well.

Pretty sure the TC that Cabelas has listed for $129 is an '09 model.

A '10 model would have 32 leds, the unit listed has 24.
The '09 has no runaway problems, and at $129 that's one heck of a price imo.
