Default Recommended number of trail cameras per acreage

I have about 32 acres of private property(not all of it I hunt on), and multiple stands. I was thinking of getting 2 trail cams, but was wondering if I would only need 1, or even more. Thanks

we had 40 acres, we used 2, basically found the funnels and put em there. when they showed promise in a spot,we could follow em on the computer and actually get em down to the minute lol kinda like cheating, but when ya only got 40 acres, ya have to kill an animal in a such away that it dont leave the property, every advantage is good to have. you can actually block some trails and divert them to where ya want em... if ya try and block to many, we found they will just go around your blockage.

I've always heard one cam for every 10 acres.

Blessings......Pastorjim

Sounds like I had better pick up another 15 acres then.

We have 60 acres and I've had as many as 5 out there. And I've never had a set where I watch some buck walk across the property from different cams. I like pastorJims guideline

I plan on putting them at food sources so I think 2 will suffice. Considering there are 2 food sources on my property. (more on my neighbors)
