Default Moultrie bucks

8 batteries later, this Moultrie has taken pictures of nothing but bucks.
I tried a Rayovac once, took 3 pics and the battery died
Is it worth it to get a couple of the rechargeable Remington 6v?

Moultrie slideshow

I take that back, I see 2 does in there.
I'll add my Bushnell album when I'm done with it.

onion721: I have 3 of the Moultrie GameSpy D55-IR. I am using rechargeable batteries: Pure Energy which test 1.55 volt out of the package. These are manufactured in Canada and sold in most Walmart stores. I am also using Energizer rechargeable which vary from 1.2 to 1.3 out of the package. These will recharge upto 1.38 volt. Moultrie offers a software upgrade to shorten video delay time.
These cameras take excellent pictures, and when set to video, they take one picture, then a video. Night video is limited to 10 second. I contacted Moultrie, and they have no plans to upgrade to a longer night video because this would require more battery power. These cameras have excellent battery life. Moultrie gave me excellent customer service. This camera has a 12 volt external port: located on the bottom right hand side when facing the camera.
I would have liked a longer (30 second) night video.
What model camera are you using?

Not sure, it was bought in '06.
I love the night pics, white flash IMO is much better than IR flash.
About the only thing this cam is good for is bait piles, range is horrible.
I placed it about 25' from a primary scrape earlier, not a single pic and the scrape had been worked over many times.

Seems like white flash cams aren't spooking the deer around my parts.

Went out and checked the Moultrie today, 18 pics of bucks.
Still can't believe that no does are hitting the bait.
Think the bucks run them off?

BTW 200lbs of corn since the 10th, pigs!

Pulled the cam today and put up my Bushnell, Moultrie was eating too many batteries.

The model is DGS100, any updates for it?
I haven't been able to find any.
