I put my camera out on this trail leading to the neighbors alfalfa. I had gone across the river to put the camera up and realized I forgot the keys to the padlock in my truck back by this field and I didn't want to take another trip across the river so I just hung the camera up not expecting these two bucks to show up!
found out last night that the neighbor wounded the bigger buck of the two. Hit high, above oung, but not high enough for a spine shot...tracked the deer most of Sunday morning and then lost the blood trail. Maybe I'll still get a crack at him.
