Default Couple of Pics

The big bucks in our neck of upstate PA have not shown yet but we are starting to see some of the smaller ones showing up. Should be any day now for the big boys.

Pastor Jim: On our property, we never see good bucks until late October. I don't know what it is. There's tons of cover. Overgrown clear cuts, swamps, blueberry thickets, steep mountain-side. I think the bucks all lay low, deep in the woods, until the rut makes them come out and hang with the does.

We have a couple of bucks that I really want to see last year. Both of them have forked G2s. One of them was about 140" and he looked like he was only 2.5yo. He'll be a brute.

well that buck last year was definitely older than a 2.5 year old but he should be a hoss this year no matter what!

He has a skinny neck and young face. Body was pretty young looking too. No way he was over 3.5.
