Almost any mineral product is good this time of year. I use a product called Lucky Buck. My deer absolutely hammer it. You can google it to find out more. Hope this helps.

Blessings.....Pastorjim

I would set out a salt block...gonna be fairly heavy though (40-50lbs) but will draw in the Deer, that and You could pack some mineral to pour out for the Deer also, that won't be as heavy and some only weigh in at around 5-8lbs dry weight.A Trophy Rock would also be a very good idea too, they are natural mineral rocks and they don't weigh a lot so it will draw the Deer in,provide minerals and last a good while. They also make smaller mineral blocks with apple flavoring etc...so one of those would help also.

I use the same product as PastorJim, Lucky Buck. The deer love it. You can put it on the ground or on a stump. That's what i did and they ATE the stump, haha. Its relatively cheap too.

Hunting Kuk....I picked up one of the smaller mineral blocks I mentioned but its name was Apple Licker I think from Evolved Habitat, weighs in at around 3-4 pounds for around $3.99.I also bought one of the Trophy Rocks like Kingobeet's mentioned....heck it weighed a little over 12 pounds for $14.99 which wasn't too bad a price,I plan on putting it out this weekend. The Bucks are taking off with their antlers around here so I need to get with it and put any minerals I have to help them out!
