Moultrie Start-Up Count Down?

In the directions for my Moultrie, it says to put it on Auto, turn it on, and look for the count-down to start at 59, 58, 57......

Well, 9 times out of 10, it starts at 05, 04, 03...... and then just seems to turn off.

What's up with that?

Turn the dial back to setup and then to auto again, it should start to count down from 59 then. I think the timer has two modes.

My moultrie will do the same thing. I have figured out that there is no rhyme or reason as to why the count down differs. I usually turn it on and if it starts at 5, turn the dial to manual and back to auto. Heck, depending on where the camera is, I leave from behind anyway, so I just close it up and leave.
