This one is a true brute.. Hes huge!

And heres the fisher:

Sweet! I've got a gamecam over a carcass from last weekend out right now - I'd love to catch a fisher in action!

I've only seen one fisher in the wild, and it was while deer hunting over a corn pile. There were a ton of squirrels all over the place, and then the fisher came out of the swamp and all the squirrels hit the trees and started barking. Those fishers are some nasty critters, one of the few that can catch and kill a porcupine, but they do a number on turkey and grouse populations. Around here we only get bear pics on our carcass cams, and we have only ever gotten fisher pics when they're stealin apples outta the bait pile.

Its funny you say that... So far we have killed 18 porcupines up at our cabin. One night we wake up and hear something underneath the cabin crunching on something. We look under there and there is 2 porcupines eating our main fiberlam beam on the cabin. Since then we have killed a whole bunch. I have been wondering what will kill and eat porcupines. That is interesting.
