Default Big bucks are back.

I got all of these bucks during the summer and they finally just showed back up within the last 3 weeks. I saw the big buck with bladed brow tines and he is at least a 4.5 year old buck.

How can you guys be so sure of age by looking at a picture? I try and judge them but I cant tell. What do you think the age of these two are? I think the bigger of the two looks younger but like I said, I have a difficult time judging.

It's a guess. Not to offend anyone, but even the "experts" say that aging a live deer, unless you have year-to-year pictures of it, is guess work. As I mentioned in a previous post eslewhere on this site, my 07 and 08 bucks were both aged at 3.5 using the jaw and tooth wear. While the same ages they were very different in antler and body characteristics.
