Default He's finally back after 38 days MIA!

Goliath, as I call him, finally showed up on the cam last night or this morning at around 5am. We haven't gotten any pictures of him since September 15, we were worried he left the area. It's a nice lift knowing that we will be hunting Saturday, and it will be raining and I think the deer, especially bucks, travel more in the crappy weather. I'll definitely post anything we shoot. I want to put an arrow in him soooo bad. He is the biggest buck I've ever seen in person in NY.

I'd love to be able to give him another year, but this is not my private farm or land, and there are no guarantees that if I let him walk, somebody else won't shoot him. Maybe you have that luxury where you hunt, but here in Poughkeepsie, NY, that wouldn't necessarily fly. If we don't get him this year, maybe he will be around next year and then we'll see. I just hope to get a deer this season, antlers or no antlers.
