Default 2.5 or 3.5? What about score, maybe 125ish"

Do you think he is 2.5 or 3.5??? Also, would you agree 125ish"?

I would say he isn't at 125ish, maybe more like 115. 2.5 year old

He comes under me stand almost everyday, but I don't know if I should take him. He has awesome potential, but I think someone else will shoot it this year.

I'd say 2.5 and a little under 120. Whether you shoot him or not is up to you. After all, a trophy is in the eye of the beholder. Whatever you decide, good luck.

Blessings.....Pastorjim

I agree, sounds like you wouldn't be entirely happy with him or you would have already made the decision, to shoot a buck because you think someone else might most likely will not make you happy, my guess is he didn't come out of hi mother with that rack so somehow he made it through a season or two. He has great potential, you just never know what he will blow into next year. Nice pics

2.5, his legs look long and there's very little muscle in his hindquarters. As for score, I can't see his grubs but he'll probably gross 125.

He looks 2.5yo. Rack isn't very wide, I don't think it would score over 120. Awesome potential!!

Absolutely not, simply no reason to kill a 2 1/2 year old buck, especially in IOWA!

Also, you're only kidding yourself and trying to hard to convince yourself to kill this animal by saying "someone else will kill him". Leave 'em be and you'll be surprised by what this young buck will become.
