Default Nice buck in Ont.

Hey all!
Checked my trail cam this morning, and was pretty pumped to see this guy show up! I like the crab claw thing he's got going!Think i saw him as a 2 1/2, 8 pt last year, and if he's the same one, i'm pretty sure he's a 3 1/2 this year. Pretty rare sight for around here, because generally speaking - "if its brown; its down..." Not much QDM happening yet, but its changing!
What do ya'll think he'll score... i only have one pic of him this time around.
thanks
Gerard

Where about in Ontario do you live. We get out the states and had that way once a year in location that there is an over abundance of deer. The average buck is at least 3 1/2 and we took one last year that was in the 6 1/2 year range, you usually see upwards to 25-30 deer per sit. Regardless that is nice buck and I hope you put the hammer down on that sucker

Nice one! Hopefully you'll see him about 20 yards from your stand!

We're in SW Ont. And yes there is an abundance of deer here as well, but the mature buck population isn't exactly soaring! The majority of bucks harvested are yearlings and like i said... generally speaking for most hunters here - if its brown its down...
For now i've got my standard set on harvesting whatever mature does walk past, and 2 1/2 bucks and older! Bow season is in 20 days!

Another question as well... As far as scoring is concerned... if a buck as 9 points, is that 9th point deducted from the score... somewhat like a n/t buck? Just a random question!
thanks and take care
Gerard
