Looks like two different bear. First 250 maybe. Second, fat slob. Look at it's belly. I believe HOGHUNTER is correct.

Just looked again at the pics. May be same bear in both pics. Ear posture and high forehead furrow is same on both. Just noticed in first pic, bear close to 40"+ at shoulders!! 450lbs. may be to low!

I think it is 2 different bears myself.. It looks to me as the first pic is that of a boar while the other pic looks more like an older sow.. I might be wrong but I do not think so.. The second bear is deffinately a lot heavier as well.. The first shows a bear that has longer leggs as well.. Good Luck on shooting a bear and I hope it's a big one if that is what you want...

These are two differnet bears im sure of it, the first one is quite narrow, id say hed go 250, the second one isnt as big as we think she is. Id say 375-400. Still nice bear by anymeans.

Left...130-150 dressed
Right....200-230 dressed.

Shot a few bear. Takes a pretty big bear to get over 300lbs. Actually my dad had shot 13 at last count.
Not sure what state you are hunting in but here in MN if you get a shot at a decent bear you best take it.
