Hmm tough one because the antlers don't match the body especially for PA. I'm going to go with my gut and against his antlers and say he's a great 3.5. Antlers tell me he's at least 3.5. There's still a clear defining line between his neck and brisket suggesting 3.5. Lastly, I'm not seeing the muslce in his front shoulders and hind quarters that I would be looking for to peg him at 4.5. Maybe he's slightly over mature but I doubt it b/c I'm not seeing any loose skin. All things considered I'm going to say that's the best 3.5 I've ever seen in PA...This one was really tough though...what were you thinking?

glew forgot to mention that the buck is from SE. OH. and so is the one below. How old do you think this one is?? I will wait to hear your opinion and then give you the answer to both.Pike
Haha now I don't feel quite as crazy...I think the last one you posted is probably 3.5 as well. He has a clear neck and virtually no mass in the beams eliminating 4.5+. It's hard to say for sure without seeing his hind quarters, I could just as easily call him 2.5 esp. by the look of his neck in the first pic.
